Acid-collection trenches and sumps in both cell houses and acid plants face harsh conditions. They require protection from constant flow and immersion in sulfuric, hydrochloric and many other acid solutions. Blome supplies a full range of lining systems, polymer concretes and acid brick linings for these applications.

Heavy duty, fiberglass-reinforced systems and polymer concretes can be either field-installed or supplied in prefabricated sections. Once dropped in place, seams are glassed together and then grouted to establish proper drainage.
